A Memphis native and Sundara’s founder, Dr. Billings holds a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and treats a wide range of concerns, including chronic digestive issues, fatigue, anxiety, insomnia, and hormonal imbalances. Her specialty is reproductive health: she’s a Fellow of the Acupuncture and TCM Board of Reproductive Medicine (FABORM), the only practitioner in Memphis with this second board certification, supporting both women and men through fertility, IVF and IUI, pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, and menopause.

A licensed acupuncturist and NCCAOM board-certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine with additional training in Asian Bodywork Therapy, Michael combines acupuncture with electroacupuncture (e-stim), tui na (Chinese medical massage), cupping, gua sha, and acupressure for chronic and acute pain, stress, sleep, and immune support. He has taught integrative pain care at Methodist University Hospital and pediatric acupressure at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Dr. Billings holds a second board certification in reproductive medicine from the Acupuncture and TCM Board of Reproductive Medicine (ABORM), earned through advanced training in Eastern and Western reproductive medicine and a rigorous certification exam.
We support both women and men: trying to conceive, IVF and IUI, PCOS, endometriosis, irregular cycles, sperm health, pregnancy, and postpartum recovery. Treatment combines acupuncture with Chinese herbal medicine, nutritional supplementation, and diet guidance, and it’s compatible with Western fertility treatment. Dr. Billings coordinates with your physician and fertility clinic, including timing treatments around your IVF schedule.

Chinese medicine looks for the root pattern behind these symptoms, often combining acupuncture with herbs and nutrition guidance. Many patients also pair care with our in-house dietitians and functional testing.
Many treatment plans include custom Chinese herbal formulas and professional-grade nutritional supplements, chosen for your specific pattern and goals. Your practitioner will explain how they fit with any medications you take.

Out-of-network: depending on your plan, we may be able to bill your insurance or provide a superbill for reimbursement.
