Candace Billings, MSOM, LAc
Candace, a Memphis native, returned home in 2013 to begin her acupuncture and holistic medical practice after graduating with high honors from the four year classical Chinese medicine program in Portland, Oregon, at the National College of Natural Medicine. There she obtained a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine, and is currently nationally board certified in acupuncture and licensed by the state of Tennessee. While she is trained to treat a wide variety of conditions, she specializes in women’s health, fertility, prenatal and postpartum care, digestive and endocrine disorders, fatigue, and emotional health. Candace is thrilled to plant her dream clinic, Sundara Wellness, in her home town and share a vision to grow an environment of vibrant health and wellness with all.
Amy Moses, DPT, OMT
Director of pelvic health physical therapy
Amy graduated from the University of Mississippi Medical Center earning a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. She later completed a residency program in Seattle, WA through the Ola Grimsby Institute specializing in Orthopedic Manual Therapy. During her time in Seattle, Amy was the director of Pelvic Health Rehabilitation at an outpatient clinic. She is now in the process of obtaining her Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification through the Herman Wallace Institute. She specializes in manual therapy, women's health, pelvic floor rehabilitation, fertility, and prenatal and postpartum care. After moving back to the Memphis area, she started a women’s health program at an outpatient clinic in Southaven, MS before helping to found the PT department at Sundara. She has taught several pelvic health and awareness classes and seminars in the Memphis area and is passionate about empowering women through education as well as treatment.
Amy White, APRN, CNM
Amy comes to Sundara with over 20 years of nursing experience and 11 years in Labor & Delivery/ Women's Services. She is a graduate of Frontier Nursing University with a Master's degree in Midwifery and is currently pursuing her doctorate in nursing practice. Amy has a special interest in incorporating complementary and alternative modalities of treatment into women's health care and is able to care for all women from menarche through menopause in a primary care capacity, including annual wellness visits, routine gynecological exams, contraception, and problem visits for illness. Amy believes that women are the expert on their bodies and have the right to respectful, evidence-based care, with truly informed consent.
Melanie Pyron, LMT
PRIMARY Pilates & Thai massage INSTRUCTOR
Melanie is a licensed massage therapist and certified Pilates & yoga instructor with 17 years of professional therapeutic movement and massage experience. Melanie studied at The Massage Institute of Memphis and earned a comprehensive Pilates certification through Ellie Herman Pilates Studios. She has completed 100 hours of Om Yoga teacher training at Midtown Yoga and a 200-hour yoga TT with Variyoga in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Throughout her time in Arkansas, she also studied advanced massage therapy for chronic pain. In 2008, Melanie moved to San Luis Obispo, California and completed a year-long certification in the Gyrotonic Expansion System® Level 1 apprenticeship. Drawing from diverse disciplines and cultures, Melanie hopes to enliven those who join her for a movement session. Encouraging clients to build a deeper awareness of their bodies, she helps explore communication with the whole body and exercise with the goal of increasing the quality of breath, maintaining a fun challenge for all levels, and a deeper connection to strength.
Cody Giovannetti, RDN, LDN, CLS
Registered Dietitian and Certified Lactation Specialist
Cody has been practicing Medical Nutrition Therapy in the clinical setting for a local hospital for the past eight years. Her clinical experience has been working with clients in the community with interactions via home visits. She brings a variety of nutritional experiences into her nutrition counseling sessions. She finds interest in integrative and functional nutrition as well as intuitive/mindful eating. She educates and supports breastfeeding mothers any chance she gets. Cody became passionate about breastfeeding when she had her son and experienced breastfeeding challenges in her own life. She also finds joy in infant/toddler nutrition through a holistic approach called baby led weaning.
Cody completed her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition at the University of Memphis in 2009 and completed her Dietetic Internship from University of Tennessee at Martin in 2010. She became a Certified Lactation Specialist in March of 2017 and holds a Certificate of Training in Adult Weight Management through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Allison Keller, DPT
Allison Keller, DPT, obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from San Diego State University. She has experience working with a variety of orthopedic conditions to include back, neck, and joint pain, as well as post-surgical recovery. She has advanced training in treating pelvic dysfunction, caring for the pregnant patient, and use of mindfulness for pain conditions through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. She has additional training in Vestibular (vertigo) disorders and treating patients with chronic pain including Fibromyalgia and chronic Lymes disease. She enjoys working with women to overcome pregnancy/post-partum issues, back/hip/pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, and other pelvic floor dysfunctions. She completed her undergraduate studies at the U.S. Naval Academy and served six years of active duty as a Naval Officer. Allison likes to spend her free time traveling and hiking with her husband and dogs.
Sara Lynn Johnson Fultz, PT, MS, MPT, ATC/L, CSCS
Sara Lynn comes to Sundara with over 17 years of experience as a physical therapist treating patients with a wide variety of orthopedic conditions. She developed a passion for helping women and men with pelvic health conditions and has focused her practice in this area for the last 7 years. She has extensive training in orthopedics and pelvic health with a focus on pelvic pain, bowel and bladder dysfunction, sexual dysfunction, chronic pain, and pregnancy/post partum conditions. Sara Lynn addresses these dysfunctions through a team approach and by treating the whole person using manual/“hands-on” techniques, exercise, trigger point dry needling, and education. Her training includes the completion of numerous pelvic health courses through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. As a graduate of the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor’s degree and a Master of Science degree in Exercise Science and Biomechanics, Sara Lynn completed her Master of Physical Therapy degree with highest honors from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis.
Audra Gehan, DPT
Audra Gehan received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the State University of New York Upstate Medical University in 2014 and her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with minors in Psychology and Chemistry from LeMoyne University in 2011. She has completed over 100 hours of advanced training in pelvic health rehabilitation and is certified in trigger point dry needling. She has been treating pelvic floor dysfunction for over 3 years and has experience with a variety of diagnoses, including male and female pelvic pain, urinary and fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, pudendal neuralgia, coccydynia and pregnancy and postpartum pain and weakness. Audra has a special interest in treating pelvic floor dysfunction in athletes, helping men and women return to and continue doing the sport they love. She has a passion for pelvic health physical therapy and loves the impact she is able to make each of her patient’s lives.
